Academic background
After obtaining her DEUG in economics, a generic degree, Sophie specialized in the hotel industry to obtain a Master’s degree in Sciences & Techniques, Hotel-Tourism at the University of Toulouse, followed by a Master’s degree in Hotel Management taught by CORNELL-ESSEC.
Professional background
25 years spent in management positions in the hotel industry (family-owned, chain, French and international, in Paris and in the provinces, from 2 to 4 stars, from 42 rooms to 850 apartments) have allowed Sophie to acquire varied skills on all aspects of business management. Her professional experiences abroad (Deputy Manager at the Lycée Français de Pékin, Executive Assistant & Cultural Coordinator at the Alliance Française de Washington) have given her a great open-mindedness and multidisciplinary skills. A woman of the field as much as the office, Sophie is similar in the team to the Swiss Army knife of any good traveler. “Responsible in the heart of the action”, her motto on a daily basis!
