Academic background
Hecham holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the Université Côte d’Azur, and is currently pursuing a Master II specialising in Banking, Financial and FinTech Law, with a strong focus on Compliance Law. He has also obtained a Diplôme d’Université (D.U.) in Hautes Études Juridiques et Politiques, culminating in a dissertation on the use of equity in the law of obligations, as well as a D.U. in English law.
Hecham is passionate about the challenges posed by artificial intelligence applied to the legal and judicial spheres, and was awarded the EFELIA-3IA scholarship in 2024, which rewards talent from programmes of excellence in AI. He also completed a legal internship at the University of Montreal, focusing on these innovative themes.
Professional Background
With varied experience in a variety of sectors, Hecham gradually gravitated towards law, the sector in which he found his calling. Before specialising in compliance and financial law, he worked in areas such as airports, commerce, sport and documentary production. This versatility enabled him to acquire key organisational, interpersonal and analytical skills, which are essential in the rigorous practice of regulatory compliance.
